LibSTEMM have been assisting the party in further developing our response to the growing deployment of AI technologies. Our party spokespersons, Victoria Collins MP, Lord Tim Clement Jones and Lord John Russell have been engaged recently and a policy paper is being launched based on consultations carried out with sector specialists in late 2025. LibSTEMM took a deep dive into infrastructure policy as this cuts across a number of different government departments, not just DSIT. We expect further member consultation will be part of the process as the party’s position evolves.
